This is how I buy my garlic. How amazing is that? (No need to worry...the seemingly white powderish stuff is only condensation...it's so humid here.) Also notice the price. I only paid $0.86 for this particular container. Mwa ha ha ha.

That is the greatest thing ever...I bet the plastic container cost more than the garlic!!
wow, I LOVE your grocery store too! one of my favorite things to do, that I think puzzles my husband, is actually going to the grocery store at places we visit! I like to see the different things they have ...and I have never seen garlic presented in this way! cook-a-rama! Do you smush yours with the side of your knife??? or do you prefer a garlic press?
I am so wishing I could get that and add it to everything I make. Now I just need to convince Ronnie that garlic is the BEST flavor EVER and I will be set.
SO jealous. Costco sells a giant tub of peeled garlic (and I do mean giant) and I always want it everytime I pass by. Ahh. What store is this... do they have one in Rockville??
Are you kidding me?? Two cloves of garlic at my store (ALBERTSON'S) cost me $1. And they sure aren't peeled. I could bathe in garlic, I love it that much.
I wish the cheap garlic made up for the $1300/month we're putting down in rent... = (
I love the garlic post--reminded me of Portuguese food which took me to a happy place--and then I remembered WHERE YOU LIVE...there is alot of Portuguese culture there in the Boston area!! I AM SO JEALOUS!
How do they get their garlic so naked?
