Let's see how fast I can type this.....the battery on the laptop is yelling at me.
1. First, some business. Liz wrote about our weekend here and here. She's much funnier than I am, so you would probably be better served hearing about it over there.
2. Confession: I've only read the first book in The Hunger Games trilogy. Also? I've only read the first two books of the Twilight series. I'm currently working on Maphead (by Ken Jennings) and I have Carolyn Jessop's Escape arriving from Amazon tomorrow.
3. Speaking of books, I'm considering actually using Good Reads. Should I do it? Is it worth my time? I've only looked through it casually...but never with real intent.
4. Have you checked out this website? You should.
5. And finally, what would a good Brain Dump be without a cheeky West Wing clip?

I have actually had the exact thought, "I wish Jen would join Goodreads!" It's not a perfect website but I am so glad I use it (Liz recommended me to sign up).
Escape is a good read and sad and infuriating all at the same time.
YES. USE GOODREADS!!!! It's a great place to keep a running list of books to read, and great to get book recommendations. I read far more when I'm hopping on goodreads than when I'm not.
And I'm going to assume Point #1 is sarcastic/tongue-in-cheek and thus evident of the fact that I am not funnier than you. Although I'll take it as a compliment no matter what!
